Clergy

Reverend Lisa Talbott grew up in Alaska. She was raised in Anchorage, and before moving to Homer, she and her husband, Joe, lived in Palmer. Pastor Lisa is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church.

Before God called her into ordained ministry, Lisa was a high school and middle school English/Language Arts teacher in the Anchorage School District.

Pastor Lisa has many hobbies, including painting, reading, writing, knitting, spinning, weaving, quilting, biking, hiking, canoeing, cooking, and gardening.

Lisa and Joe feel blessed to be appointed to the Homer United Methodist Church in one of their favorite towns - Homer, AK!
