Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who will minister to all creation through service and words that heal and free. We join in the United Methodist denominational mission to "make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

We seek to be a United Methodist Church family welcoming all people. Here is our invitation: Whoever you are, whatever your circumstances, however you identify yourself, if you come here to find God, you are welcome.

What To Expect

At Homer United Methodist Church we try to be a welcoming and hospitable church family who trusts that God is moving in us and through us. Our worship services are a friendly blend of formal and informal. On the first Sunday of the month, we share in Holy Communion. Our biblical sermons proclaim the comforting and challenging message of God’s grace and unconditional love toward all people everywhere.
